2001 Chevrolet Impala, No Dash Lights.

I have a 2001 impala the radio lights and the (P.R.N.D.2.1) lights work in the daytime and at night I cant see them, Also the cluster lights dont seem to work at all, Can you give some tips please.

Hi Arthur,

It would seem like either the panel dimming fuse is blown or the dimmer circuit board in the headlight switch is faulty. Have you checked to see if the switch is turned down to the full dim position?

It's the first thing you do when something is not working is to see if it is turned on. It is fixed I went to work on it as soon as I read your reply, it was the dimmer circuit board.

2005 Chevrolet Avalanche With Auto Air, Blower Problems

My 2005 Chevy Avalanche Blower stopped working. Looked at your fix for the blower resistor. Took my glove box out and I don't have that, I have what looks like a module. Fan ran yesterday but not very strong, then started and stopped. Today would not stop. I have the automatic climate control in the truck. Any help would be great.

1995 Chevrolet C1500 Blower Inop

My 1995 Chevy Silverado's blower motor, ac heat defrost etc... seems to keep loosing power. I took out the glove box door when it was starting to work intermittently and found the red and black power wires hot.melted the connector, so I checked the ground and hard wired the wires(removed the connector) Now its not working again? No Blower 1992 GMC Sierra

The blower motor on my 1992 GMC Sierra extended cab truck ran only on high for a few days, and then quit altogether. I bought a new resistor, but I cannot find the location of the existing one to replace it. I removed the glove box, but could not see anything that looked like the replacement that I got from the parts house. Can you help me out?

2004 GMC Sierra Blower New Blower Resistor Does Not Fit

   I have a 2004 GMC Sierra. The blower resistor is no good. I've gone thru GM dealerships and I have friends that work for aftermarket parts dealerships. The replacement resister does not bolt up and is similar but the bolt pattern and shape are slightly different. Is there also a new snap on harness that this resistor works with or am I getting the wrong parts?

2006 Silverado Blower Staying On

Sparky, Thanks for your site and all its great info!! I have the blower staying on problem w/ my 2006 Silverado. I have the 5.3 V8, bucket seats, and center console.  I needed the parts right away (its too cold!)  and picked them up from the local NAPA. The problem is my existing resistor does not have the big (7 wire) harness it only has three wires going into it. The parts I got do not match. Can you help me?

2004 Chevy Silverado A/C Fan Stays On

Robert asked: My 2004 Silverado heater-a/c fan stays ON when the ignition is OFF. It sounds to me like a connector problem at the resistor module. I have replaced the module twice and the blower once. I have not replaced the connector. Is 12V applied to the module at all times? If so, then could a possible short directly to the blower motor cause this condition? I know of no other possibility, do you?
